We are partnering with a rapidly growing construction company in the Cypress area hand on HR Manager

The ideal candidate is someone who can confidently partner with leadership while also being a trusted resource for employees in the field and office. If you enjoy employee engagement, coaching managers, improving processes, and creating a positive workplace culture, this could be a great fit.

What You will Be Doing
  • Lead employee relations efforts and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Partner with leadership to support performance management, coaching, corrective actions, and employee development
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Manage unemployment claims, investigations, conflict resolution, and sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Support and strengthen workplace safety initiatives, OSHA reporting, and workers compensation processes
  • Conduct employee engagement initiatives and help drive a strong company culture
  • Provide HR guidance and support to both office staff and field employees
  • Visit job sites to build relationships with employees and reinforce company policies and expectations
  • Collaborate with HR compliance teams on audits, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Help lead and support the HR team through ongoing projects, meetings, and daily priorities
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience with strong employee relations and compliance background
  • Experience supporting managers and coaching teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and performance management practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of an organization
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus
  • Experience with HR systems, safety compliance, OSHA, and workers compensation
