Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support multiple operating locations and serve as a strategic partner to business leaders. This role will oversee key human resources functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with leaders and employees while driving initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and culture.
What You'll Do
- Partner with business leaders to align human resources strategies with organizational goals and operational needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning matters.
- Lead investigations, conflict resolution efforts, and corrective action processes while ensuring consistent application of company policies.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent across a variety of functions and experience levels.
- Support onboarding programs that help new employees integrate quickly and successfully into the organization.
- Coach and mentor managers on employee development, performance management, leadership effectiveness, and team engagement.
- Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning initiatives, and employee development programs.
- Lead annual performance review processes and support goal-setting activities across the organization.
- Provide guidance on compensation decisions, salary administration, and employee reward programs.
- Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, retention, communication, and recognition efforts.
- Monitor workforce trends and utilize HR metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and documentation.
- Support organizational change initiatives, workforce transitions, and business growth strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting business operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution experience.
- Demonstrated success partnering with managers and influencing business decisions.
- Experience with talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development programs.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience utilizing HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
- Master's degree or advanced HR-related education.
- Multi-site HR leadership experience.
- Experience supporting operations, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or other workforce-intensive environments.
- Background in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Experience leveraging workforce metrics and analytics to drive decision-making.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
- Proven experience leading culture, engagement, and change management initiatives.
