The Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day execution of HR programs, policies, and processes that foster a positive employee experience and ensure organizational compliance. This position partners with leaders and employees across the organization to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy administration, talent management, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted resource for managers and employees while helping drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.
This is a hybrid position and can be based from any of Asure's hub locations such as Austin, Tampa, Nashville, Santa Ana, Rochester, or Cherry Hill.
How you will contribute
Respond to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and proactive communication.
Support performance review processes and talent assessment programs.
Monitor completion of performance evaluations and facilitate annual review cycles.
Administer and interpret company policies consistently and fairly.
Assist in investigations and maintain confidential employee records.
Maintain employee data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement programs.
Support training and development programs, including compliance training and leadership development efforts.
Assist with organizational changes, communications, and change management activities.
Support implementation and optimization of HR systems and programs
Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate employee recognition initiatives and company events.
Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with retention requirements.
Support audits, reporting requirements, and HR compliance initiatives.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Help develop tools and resources that support employee growth and development.
Assist managers with performance improvement planning and performance-related documentation.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, conduct, attendance, and workplace concerns.
Support employee relations matters by conducting fact-finding, documenting concerns, and partnering with HR leadership on resolutions.
