We’re looking for a driven HR Generalist, ideally with experience managing employee leaves!
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting employees, navigating HR compliance, and serving as a key resource for all aspects of employee leave administration—including FMLA, ADA, and other protected leaves—while contributing across multiple areas of the employee experience in a fast-paced environment. Core duties and responsibilities include:
• Administer employee leaves (FMLA, CFRA, ADA) and accommodations
• Support full-cycle recruiting (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding)
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws and HR policies
• Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and audits
• Assist with training programs and employee development initiatives
• Support employee engagement activities and workplace culture
• Manage HR documentation, investigations, and tracking processes
• Provide HRIS/HCM system support
Required skills and qualifications:
• 2+ years of HR experience (retail or grocery industry a plus)
• Working knowledge of California labor laws and leave programs
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday is a plus)
• Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field is preferred (certifications a plus)
Compensation:
The Hourly range for this position is from $30 - $38, depending on experience.
