Job Title: HR Generalist
Duration: 3 Months (90 Day Contract that may turn into a temp to hire opportunity)
Location: Olive Branch, MS 38654
Monday - Friday onsite, 8am - 5pm

Job Overview
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting, interviewing, benefits and enforcing company policies and practices. Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for partnering with plant leadership to deliver a high-performance culture at all levels of plant. The HR Generalist will serve as a resource to provide customer service support to employees by responding to employee inquiries and questions.
Recruitment:

Conducting full-cycle recruitment activities such as sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
Preparing onboarding materials, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and facilitating orientation activities

Employee/Labor Relations:

Handling employee relations matters and providing guidance to managers on employee-related issues. Responding to and resolving employee concerns.
Working closely with HR Manager to provide clear and concise communication of policies and procedures to ensure a customer driven environment.
Organizing employee engagement activities, conducting stay interviews, and promoting our culture of inclusion.

Administration:

Generating HR reports and metrics to support business decisions and track progress towards HR goals.
Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Preparing and processing complex HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, terminations, and promotions.
Assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.

What will help you thrive in this role?

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
1- 3 years of relevant HR experience(required)
Manufacturing industry or warehouse experience (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Must be a self-directed, hands-on solid HR Generalist
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management system
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
