Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish) - Temporary-to-Hire

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish) to join a growing organization in Oceanside. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing day-to-day HR functions, and partnering with leadership to ensure a positive and compliant workplace environment. The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for employees while assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and new hire paperwork.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
- Maintain HR files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Support employee relations investigations and help resolve workplace concerns.
- Process employment verifications, status changes, and other HR documentation.
- Assist in administering performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Partner with managers to support workforce planning and staffing needs.
- Generate HR reports and maintain accurate data within HRIS systems.
- Translate and communicate HR information to Spanish-speaking employees as needed.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- 2+ years of HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or related role.
- Working knowledge of California labor laws and employment practices.
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
