    Description

    The HR Generalist acts as a strategic partner to leadership, delivering comprehensive Human Resources support across the organization. This role plays a critical part in talent acquisition, onboarding, training, employee relations, and licensing, while supporting business objectives through effective staffing and retention strategies. The HR Generalist promotes compliance, fosters a positive workplace culture, and proactively addresses employee relations matters to mitigate risk and support organizational success.

    • Must be 19 years of age or older
    • Proficient in English verbal and written
    • Proficient with iOS devices
    • Flexible to work a schedule that includes 1 night per week and weekends
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and computers
    • Prior HR experience a plus, Bilingual a plus
    • Must have a GED or High School Diploma
    • Bachelor's degree, in Human Resources or related field experience
    • Experience working in HRIS systems a plus
    • Working knowledge of FLSA,FMLA,ADA,TITLE IV, State and Federal wage laws
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to details

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds

    • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds

    • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively

    • Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment

    • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period

    • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period

    • Conduct New Hire Orientation and Onboarding

    • Source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for hire

    • Manage job postings, applicant tracking, and hiring workflows

    • Coordinate and participate in job fairs and community outreach

    • Partner with department supervisors to identify staffing needs and support workforce planning

    • Serve as a primary contact for Team Member questions, concerns and support

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, gaming regulations and employment laws

    • Ensure compliance with employee records, files, HR systems and annual training

    • Support team member engagement and activities and events

    • Actively participates in the property HEROS program

    • Takes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist team members with their needs

    • Accepts feedback and coaching from leaders

    • All other duties assigned
