Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a 300+ employee food manufacturing. This role partners with plant and corporate leadership to drive workforce strategy, employee engagement, compliance, talent development, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to plant and corporate leadership, supporting workforce planning, retention, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead employee relations, investigations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and succession planning for hourly, salaried, and management employees.
  • Lead the site’s planned 2026 ADP Workforce Now implementation, including system transition, testing, training, and process improvement.
  • Oversee site-level compensation, benefits, and payroll administration.
  • Drive employee engagement, communication, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Partner with EHS leadership to promote a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Manage and develop an HR team consisting of one HR Manager and one part-time Payroll/HR Support team member.
  • Utilize HR metrics and data to identify trends and improve organizational performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years in food manufacturing.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS/payroll implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and employee relations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
Pay: $50k-75k, based on experience.
