    The Workforce Intelligence Team sits within our HR Enterprise and provides workforce related reporting, analytics, and business insights to HR professionals and business leaders across Schwab.

    As a Manager, HR Data Reporting & Analytics, you will design and deliver advanced HR reporting solutions that transform data into actionable insights for HR, Finance, and operations. Leveraging Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, and other reporting systems, you'll create accurate, optimized reports that support strategic decision-making. This role requires deep expertise in Workday Reporting and Analytics, strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Knowledge of Workday data architecture, business processes, and security frameworks is essential.

    What you'll do:

    • Design and deliver dynamic reporting solutions using Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Trending reports across multiple Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Talent, Skills, Learning, Payroll, Finance) to drive data-informed decisions.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create scalable, innovative Workday reporting solutions that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
    • Manage data accuracy and integrity through thorough testing, validation, and continuous improvement of HR reporting processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting challenges-including performance issues, data discrepancies, and access concerns-while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance self-service reporting and data accessibility.
    • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation, including data dictionaries and metadata, to promote transparency and reusability across the organization.
    • Monitor and optimize report performance to ensure efficiency and reliability.
    • Support audits and dashboard development, and deliver enhancements to custom reports that meet evolving business needs.
    • Lead Workday release readiness, assessing new features, validating system impacts, and creating mitigation plans to ensure smooth transitions.

    Please Note: This is an in-office role requiring on-site presence in one of the locations where the role is posted a minimum of 4 days per week with the flexibility of working remotely one day a week.

    What you have

    To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of experience in Workday Reporting and Analytics.

    • Workday Report Writer (Advanced, Composite, Matrix, Trending, Transposed Reports).

    • Workday Report Administrator.

    • Calculated Fields Design & Optimization.

    • Experience working in Agile and fast-paced environments.

    • Deep understanding of Workday System, Business Process, and Security Configuration.

    • Experience in Report Performance Tuning and Testing.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, solve challenging business problems, and develop scalable solutions.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • An understanding of core Human Resources functions and typical workforce management processes and related data.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • A high degree of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, with an appreciation for structure and standards.
    • Proven success applying analytical thinking to interpret business needs and translate them into data elements, values, and actionable reporting insights.
    • Successful history building rapport with stakeholders and working with others in a team to accomplish a goal.
    • Experience managing multiple tasks at once.
    • Workday Reporting Pro certification is a plus.
