HR/Corporate Trainer – Direct Hire

Pro Resources is seeking a Corporate Trainer for an established manufacturing company in Attica, IN. This direct hire opportunity is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping employees learn, building practical training programs, and working closely with teams on the production floor. In this role, you’ll partner with Human Resources and production leaders to coordinate employee training, support new hires, and strengthen learning throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and deliver new hire orientation, job-specific training, refresher courses, and employee development programs.
  • Implement and maintain a learning management system, training materials, and accurate employee training records.
  • Work with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and improve employee performance.
  • Help coordinate and assess training during employees’ first 30, 60, and 90 days and throughout their employment.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures, training manuals, presentations, and assessments.
  • Develop train-the-trainer activities and support employee certification and recertification.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate training related to policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with other Human Resources activities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with relevant experience.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain information clearly to employees with different learning needs.
  • Ability to write procedures, communications, and training materials.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized systems.
  • Experience developing presentations preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of corporate policies and applicable local, state, and OSHA regulations.
  • Flexibility to work outside typical business hours when needed.
Work Environment
This position combines office work with hands-on involvement in a manufacturing setting, with approximately 50% of the day spent in production areas. Candidates should be comfortable with sitting, standing, walking, frequent computer use, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
