Job Summary
A growing industrial manufacturing facility in Cleveland is seeking an experienced
HR Coordinator to provide on-site Human Resources support during a temporary assignment. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong payroll and HRIS experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
The HR Coordinator will support day-to-day HR operations, assist employees with HR-related questions, coordinate onboarding activities, and handle payroll administration using ADP eTime. This position requires someone who can work independently, communicate confidently, and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll-related transactions using ADP eTime, including:
- Entering employee vacation and PTO
- Maintaining attendance point tracking
- Setting up and maintaining employee timecards
- Processing HRIS employee changes and wage increases
- Serve as the on-site HR resource for employee questions, escalating issues to corporate HR leadership when appropriate.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Assist employees with completing online onboarding documentation and orientation requirements.
- Post internal job openings, company announcements, and employee communications throughout the facility.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors, managers, and employees across multiple departments.
- Maintain accurate HR records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Support payroll, attendance, and general HR administrative functions.
- Walk throughout the production facility to communicate with employees and post notices as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service while supporting a diverse workforce.
Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of Human Resources experience.
- Previous ADP eTime experience is required.
- Experience supporting payroll, attendance tracking, and HRIS functions.
- Strong knowledge of onboarding and employee documentation processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working with employees at all organizational levels in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Confident, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing facility
- Frequent interaction with plant employees, supervisors, and management
- Occasional walking throughout the production floor
- Must be comfortable using a site radio for communication
- Steel-toe boots and hard hat required while in designated production areas (PPE provided if applicable)
