• Coordinate onboarding procedures for new hires.
• Administer employee benefits programs, assisting staff with enrollment, claims inquiries, and annual open enrollment processes.
• Maintain accurate personnel records, attendance logs, and confidential employee files within the HR Information System (HRIS).
• Support the recruitment lifecycle by posting open positions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers.
• Draft and translate internal HR communications, company policies, and announcements between English and Japanese.
• Assist with payroll preparation by auditing timecards and verifying overtime hours with department supervisors.
• Organize company-wide cultural events and team-building activities to foster an inclusive workplace environment.

• Business-level Japanese language skills to effectively bridge communication between local employees and Japan-based HR executives.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday).
