Job Overview:
The HR Content Consultant serves as a strategic content partner to assigned People functions, leading the development, management, and optimization of employee-facing HR content. This role ensures consistent, accurate, and engaging experiences for employees. The consultant collaborates with People leaders and subject matter experts to design content strategies, simplify complex information, establish content standards, and ensure content is organized, accessible, and aligned with organizational priorities. By applying content design, governance, and communication best practices, the HR Content Consultant enhances how employees discover, understand, and use People information.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute content and communication strategies for assigned People functions, including Employee Relations, Employee Rewards, HR Compliance, HR Ops, HRBP, People Systems, Total Rewards, and other initiatives.
- Serve as the primary content partner to People leaders and subject matter experts, providing strategic consultation on communication and content planning, usability, and employee experience.
- Translate complex, technical, or policy-related People content into clear, employee-centered messaging tailored to intended audiences.
- Provide recommendations on communication channels, audience segmentation, timing, and delivery approaches to maximize effectiveness and engagement.
- Design and maintain content standards, style guidelines, templates, and governance practices to ensure consistency across People resources.
- Develop, edit, and maintain employee-facing content across knowledge bases, intranet sites, employee portals, FAQs, job aids, and other digital platforms.
- Evaluate existing content to identify gaps, duplication, outdated information, and opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, and searchability.
- Partner with stakeholders to define content priorities, lifecycle management, publishing schedules, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Coordinate content review, approval, and governance processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely publication.
- Collaborate with HR Standards teams, Product teams, and Communications partners to ensure content aligns with enterprise standards, business objectives, and employee needs.
- Monitor content effectiveness through employee feedback, usage metrics, and analytics, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, branding, and employee experience across all People content and communications.
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.
Qualifications:- Knowledge of content and communications strategy, content design, and content governance principles within HR or People environments.
- Knowledge of communication channels, audience segmentation, and employee engagement principles and best practices for creating intuitive, user-centered content.
- Knowledge of People programs and functions, including Employee Relations, Employee Rewards, HR Compliance, HR Ops, HRBP, People Systems, Total Rewards, and other initiatives.
- Skill in applying content design principles that improve readability, usability, accessibility, and discoverability.
- Skill in managing multiple content initiatives, priorities, publishing schedules, and stakeholder expectations.

Education:- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:- Advanced-level experience in content strategy, content design, technical writing, knowledge management, or HR/People content development.
- Experience in internal communications, People/HR communications, employee engagement, or organizational communications.
- Experience managing content across intranet platforms, employee portals, email communications, or related communication channels.
Licensing/Certification:Physical Abilities:- Ability to perform work duties from a limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time.
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job.

Pay Range: $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
