Job Profile: HR Compliance Analyst – Benefits & Retirement / Pension Regulatory Filings
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage regulatory compliance for U.S. retirement and health benefit plans. This role involves preparing and coordinating required filings and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate degree (may be required)
- 3-5 years of experience in the field or a related area
- Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others
- Prior work experience in the industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in benefits compliance, ERISA, or retirement/health & welfare plans
- Experience managing or supporting IRS Form 5500 filings
- Knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations (ERISA, IRS, DOL, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation, coordination, and submission of IRS Form 5500 filings across all benefit plans
- Support SEC Form 11-K filings and ensure alignment with financial disclosures
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and state disability regulations
- Partner with TPAs, auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely submissions
