Job Description

The HR & Compensation Analyst acts as a critical member of the HR team focused on broad-based compensation support, including market pricing, jobs data integrity, process improvements, and reporting over select HR process areas designed to provide insights on people operational data for decision support purposes and risk mitigation. The person in this role champions the use of automation, streamlines HR processes, and reduces manual effort to create operational efficiencies. The role has a strong focus on continuous improvement and also supports the Dayforce HRIS system through administration and auditing activities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and benchmarking using compensation surveys and internal data to support competitiveness and pay positioning. • Analyze job responsibilities and requirements to determine appropriate compensation levels. • Support the administration of incentive and merit-based compensation programs. • Conduct analysis to maintain and recommend updates to pay structures. • Ensure that compensation practices comply with current laws and regulations. • Prepare and deliver HR metrics reporting on both regular cadence and ad hoc schedules. • Designs, develops, and maintains reports and dashboards to support analytical and business needs. • Audit and maintain employee data in Dayforce, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Required Minimum Experience and Education

• Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or statistics, or equivalent experience. • Three years of broad-based compensation experience. • Three years of experience in data analysis. • Preferred Experience and Education: • HR certification (i.e., CCP, PHR, etc.). • Five years of broad-based compensation experience. • One year of experience with Dayforce HRIS. • Five years of experience in data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of HR processes and best practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft applications. • Strong attention to detail with organizational skills. • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levels of management. • Excellent planning and organizational skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively while participating in cross-functional projects. • Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
