We're looking for an HR Business Partner who helps build and maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness within a lean HR team. Partners with Operations and HR Director on daily operational matters to support HR initiatives and specific business unit needs. Primary contact for local Operations managers and employees. Drives administration and coordination of HR programs and processes and seeks process improvement, standardization, and automation.

What You'll Do:

• Support management in areas such as performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning
• Actively lead and facilitate recruitment efforts
• Participate and help drive Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
• Act as first point of contact for employees and managers providing advice and direction regarding general day to day employee relations, compensation, MTS policies and procedures
• Independently solves challenges, generating innovative ways to business problems working with talent
• Administer existing HR programs within established guidelines
• Support and actively participate in HR initiatives
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
• Assist with HR compliance audits
• Provide proactive feedback to HRD regarding potential policy issues, modifications, and/or concerns
• Support existing and new training or development programs
• Ensure the business applies and demonstrates the core values of ITW

What You Bring:

• Bachelor Degrees in HR or related field
• HR Certification(s) a plus
• 5-7 years progressive HR experience
• Experience of working in a global matrix organization is preferred
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and remain organized to accomplish work to meet deliverables in a timely andaccurate manner
• Adapts to changes in the work environment, competing demands and unexpected events
• Develops strong working relationships with managers and employees
• Displays a positive attitude
• Strong written and oral communication skills and openness to coaching
• Offers suggestions and process improvements
• Acts as a professional team player
• Applies general deductive and inductive reasoning to of problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Uses relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of relevant national and local laws relating to employment issues
• Demonstrates the ability to solve issues through problem definition, data collection and appropriate action taking

Compensation Information:

$92,000 - $130,000 Annual Salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
