HR Business Partner – Manufacturing (Medical Device Industry)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, global advanced manufacturing organization within the medical device space to identify an experienced HR Business Partner to support a high-growth production site in the Danbury, CT area.

This organization is a leader in advanced engineering, prototyping, and micro-manufacturing, supporting innovation across the med device industry. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and building a strong employee experience.

This is a key on-site HR leadership role partnering directly with site leadership to execute people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and organizational scalability.

What You’ll Do

Partner with site leadership to align HR strategy with business and operational priorities
Lead execution of core HR programs, including talent management, workforce planning, compensation, and employee engagement
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring for hourly, skilled labor, and temporary workforce needs
Manage employee relations, including investigations and resolution of complex issues
Support performance management, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives
Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify insights and drive solutions
Ensure compliance with employment laws in partnership with HR leadership and legal teams
Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness
Support training and development initiatives across the site

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Strong background across employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning
Experience supporting both hourly and salaried populations in a fast-paced setting
Bachelor’s degree required (HR or related field preferred)
Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and SuccessFactors strongly preferred
