HR Business Partner

Our client is a global manufacturing organization with a strong growth trajectory and ongoing investment in its operations. They are looking for an HR Business Partner to support their Fairfield County, CT site. This is not a transactional HR position. The organization is looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with leaders, influencing decision-making, and navigating complex employee relations and organizational challenges. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to management, helping drive workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives that directly impact business results. For an HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, influencing change, and making a measurable impact within a manufacturing environment, this is an opportunity to join an established team and play a key role in shaping the future of the site. This position is five days a week on-site in Fairfield County, CT.

Partner with managers and site leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and workforce planning initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor on people-related matters, helping leaders navigate organizational challenges and drive business objectives. Support employee engagement efforts and develop initiatives that enhance retention, performance, and overall employee experience. Collaborate with leadership to identify talent needs, succession planning opportunities, and employee development strategies. Lead and support investigations, conflict resolution, and complex employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Collaborate closely with the broader HR team to ensure consistent execution of people strategies and HR best practices across the site.

A successful HR Business Partner should have: experience supporting employee populations within a manufacturing, industrial, operations, logistics, or similar environment. Proven HR Business Partner experience with strengths in employee relations, performance management, coaching, and leadership support. Ability to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization, from front-line employees to leadership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze HR data and provide actionable insights. Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment undergoing growth, change, or transformation.
