Position Overview
At dormakaba, we're looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support our Australia and New Zealand business. Reporting to the DVP HR Market Australia/New Zealand, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leaders across manufacturing, operations and corporate functions, helping drive performance, employee engagement and organisational success.
This is a hands-on role suited to a mature HR professional who enjoys working autonomously, building strong stakeholder relationships and navigating a broad range of HR matters across both blue and white collar environments.
What you will do
Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR advice across the employee lifecycle
Lead and support employee relations matters including performance management, investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes
Support organizational change initiatives, workforce planning and talent management activities
Analyze people metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and support business decision making
Coach leaders on employment legislation, modern awards, company policies and best-practice people management
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and wider HR teams to deliver key people initiatives
What we require
Significant experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager
Strong employee relations experience including investigations, performance management and conflict resolution
Experience supporting blue collar and operational workforces within manufacturing, industrial or similar environments
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and workplace relations
Ability to build credibility with leaders and influence outcomes across all levels of the organization
Comfortable working autonomously and managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment
What we prefer
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
Experience supporting geographically dispersed workforces across multiple sites
Experience working within unionized environments or Enterprise Agreement negotiations
