Human Resources Business Partner

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and operational partner to manufacturing leadership, as well as functional leaders for the business. This role aligns HR strategies with business objectives, supports teams through workforce planning and organizational effectiveness, and ensures execution of people initiatives that drive performance, engagement, compliance, and operational excellence. The HRBP balances hands-on tactical HR support within manufacturing environments with strategic partnership at the business level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to manufacturing and business leadership
  • Actively participate at the leadership table as a strategic contributor to business decisions while serving as a voice for the organization, reinforcing company strategy, priorities, and cultural expectations
  • Act as the primary HR communicator for assigned business unit, ensuring clear, timely, and aligned messaging
  • Partner directly with manufacturing employees to foster engagement, address concerns, and ensure a positive and compliant work environment
  • Support production workforce needs including recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning
  • Provide guidance on attendance management, corrective action, investigations, and policy enforcement
  • Support annual processes including performance reviews, merit planning, and bonus administration
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong expertise in employee relations and in-depth knowledge of employment laws, ensuring consistent and compliant workplace practices
  • Ability to conduct investigations, address performance issues and disciplinary action with fairness and discretion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Standard office environment with hybrid/remote flexibility depending on company policy
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Some occasional travel
