Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
HR Business Partner - Employee Relations to support employee relations and HR initiatives for the Houston site. This role is responsible for conducting internal investigations, promoting a fair and compliant workplace, driving employee engagement initiatives, and partnering with business leaders to strengthen organizational culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong investigative, analytical, and communication skills while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Investigations- Lead and manage employee relations investigations involving alleged violations of company policies, employment laws, ethics, and workplace conduct.
- Conduct impartial investigations while balancing employee fairness, legal compliance, and business priorities.
- Prepare investigation reports, documentation, talking points, and corrective action recommendations.
- Partner with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, IT, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), HR, and outside counsel to conduct objective investigations.
- Perform root cause analyses for substantiated findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Document investigation findings, decisions, and recommendations in the appropriate systems.
- Analyze investigation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
HR Initiatives & Employee Engagement- Lead the development and execution of site-wide HR initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
- Analyze employee survey results and identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and key stakeholders to implement engagement initiatives.
- Monitor initiative effectiveness and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Present employee relations trends, workforce insights, and progress updates to site leadership.
QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
Professional Experience- Prior employee relations investigation experience, preferably within a multinational organization.
- Experience conducting interviews involving sensitive and confidential employee matters.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience utilizing HR metrics, KPIs, and workforce analytics to support business decisions.
