    Job Title: HR Associate Generalist
    Location: Houston, TX, United States
    Duration: 3 Months+ Possible extension
    Shift: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm 

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced HR Associate Generalist to support HR data management, job architecture, and system optimization initiatives. This role combines administrative responsibilities with HR expertise, requiring candidates to analyze, validate, and maintain job-related information within Oracle HR systems. The ideal candidate will possess broad HR knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions regarding job classifications, skills mapping, and data accuracy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform Oracle HR system data cleanup and maintenance activities.
    • Support job description migration projects, ensuring accurate transfer of information into designated system fields.
    • Conduct skills mapping and validate system-generated skills against job profiles.
    • Review, analyze, and verify job-related data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
    • Evaluate job classifications and skill assignments, making appropriate recommendations when discrepancies are identified.
    • Copy and maintain structured job data within Oracle and related HR systems.
    • Partner with HR stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with organizational standards.
    • Identify and resolve data quality issues through research and analysis.
    • Apply HR knowledge and business judgment to support workforce and job architecture initiatives.
    • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and data governance requirements.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience working in Human Resources, HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or a similar HR support environment.
    • Working knowledge of HR processes, job classifications, competencies, and talent management concepts.
    • Experience using HRIS platforms, preferably Oracle HCM or similar systems.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and validate complex HR data.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
    • Ability to make informed decisions and exercise sound judgment when reviewing job and skills-related information.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Oracle HCM data management, implementation, or migration projects.
    • Broad HR generalist background with exposure to multiple HR functional areas.
    • Experience supporting job architecture, competency frameworks, or skills taxonomy initiatives.
    • Familiarity with HR data governance and quality assurance processes.
