Description

We are currently recruiting for an HR Assistant job in Kernersville, NC! This role is fully on-site and a temp to hire. We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support daily human resources operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will focus on coordinating temporary workforce needs, partnering with staffing agencies, supporting employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting employees with HR-related questions. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service focused, and enjoys working with both employees and external partners. Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for temporary employees and staffing agency partners

  • Coordinate temporary labor requests and monitor workforce staffing levels

  • Communicate hiring needs, attendance issues, and performance feedback to staffing agencies

  • Assist with onboarding activities for new hires and temporary employees

  • Conduct orientation sessions and support employee training initiatives

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality

  • Process employment paperwork, including I-9 verification and other onboarding documents

  • Support employee relations by responding to routine HR questions in both English and Spanish

  • Track attendance, headcount, and workforce metrics

  • Assist with recruitment activities, interview scheduling, and candidate communications

  • Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee programs as needed

  • Help maintain HR policies, organizational charts, and job descriptions

  • Collaborate with managers to ensure staffing needs are met and workforce issues are resolved promptly

  • Assist with special HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred

  • At least 1 year of HR, recruiting, staffing, administrative, or employee relations experience preferred

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) preferred

  • Experience working with staffing agencies and managing temporary labor strongly preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment is a plus

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
