Now Hiring: HR Coordinator
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice | Joplin, MO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | No weekends
Pay: $18-$21/hour, depending on experience
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support hiring and onboarding for our Joplin team. You'll assist with new hire paperwork, background checks, orientation, and general HR support - helping every new employee feel welcomed from day one.
What You'll Do
- Process new hire paperwork and maintain employee records
- Complete background checks and screenings
- Lead weekly new hire orientation
- Provide daily HR administrative support
- Answer general HR questions from employees
What We're Looking For
- HR or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Professional, confidential, and team-oriented
- SHRM-CP/PHR and healthcare experience a plus, not required

Phoenix provides Home Health Care services to those who desire to remain independent at home. Phoenix provides acute Skilled Nursing through Home Health Services; Private Duty Nursing to Children with Special Needs; Privately Paid Services such as nursing, nurse-aide or companion level assistance with activities of daily living from a few hours a day to around-the-clock care; State funded In-home Services (homemaker chores, errands and shopping, personal care, education, medication set-ups and reminders; and Consumer Directed Services where Phoenix serves as a state vendor to provide administrative support services.
