HR Assistant

Now Hiring: HR Coordinator Phoenix Home Care & Hospice | Joplin, MO

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | No weekendsPay: $18–$21/hour, depending on experience

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support hiring and onboarding for our Joplin team. You'll assist with new hire paperwork, background checks, orientation, and general HR support — helping every new employee feel welcomed from day one.

What You'll Do

• Process new hire paperwork and maintain employee records
• Complete background checks and screenings
• Lead weekly new hire orientation
• Provide daily HR administrative support
• Answer general HR questions from employees

What We're Looking For

• HR or administrative experience preferred
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office
• Professional, confidential, and team-oriented
• SHRM-CP/PHR and healthcare experience a plus, not required
