A growing organization is seeking an organized, customer-focused HR Administrator to support daily Human Resources operations. Responsibilities

Human Resources Administration

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and requests.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation scheduling, and new hire paperwork.
  • Process employee status changes and support benefits and leave administration.
  • Coordinate HR communications and employee engagement initiatives.

Employee Relations & Support

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to employees and managers.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and policy interpretation.
  • Support employee recognition, wellness, and engagement programs.
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Support recruiting activities and onboarding for new employees.
  • Assist with training coordination and learning & development initiatives.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and workforce metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Assist with HR audits, recordkeeping, and documentation.
  • Provide support for payroll, compensation, and benefits administration as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within Human Resources.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, or recruiting.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of labor relations or union environments.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certifications.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
