POSITION: HR ADMIN
STARTING PAY RATE: $25.00-$29.00/hour
REPORTS TO: HR DIRECTOR, US OPERATIONS
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
HR ADMIN - BILINGUAL PREFERRED (English/Spanish) needed to provide support for Human Resources at a rapidly expanding manufacturing company with ~35+ employees. This position will provide vital support to Human Resources and other departments as needed. The ideal candidate will be punctual, detail oriented, use excellent communication skills, and have previous experience working in a human resources department and performing administrative related tasks.
JOB DUTIES:
Handle the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening incoming resumes, communicating with temp
agencies, and coordinating interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers
Assist incoming walk in job applicants and direct accordingly
Prepare new hire packets, run drug/background screenings, administer I-9 verifications
Conduct onboarding and safety training sessions for new hires
Process employee terminations
Monitor and track employee timesheets, attendance, and vacation accruals
Assist with payroll processing ensuring accuracy of timesheets, bonuses, and deductions as needed
Assist with employee benefit enrollments and/or status changes
Provide support for HR related staff queries, training programs, benefit plans, policy changes, and company event notifications
Prepare/maintain reports in Excel spreadsheets
Maintain absolute discretion with sensitive and confidential personnel data and ensuring adherence to local and federal labor laws
Compile and maintain an organized filing system
Support all other departments with daily tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Bilingual Preferred (Spanish/English)
3+ years human resources administrative experience
Payroll experience a plus
Experience with workforce management software. I.e. ADP, Kronos
Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with local and federal labor law regulations and compliance
High attention to detail with stellar organizational skills
Ability to follow company procedures/policies accurately and efficiently
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
High School diploma or equivalent
Pre-employment drug and background screening
