Local Apartment Complex needs Housing Specialist II immediately!
Shift Days: Monday - Friday
Shift Times: 1st shift, flexible
Starting Pay: $37440
Must have at minimum:
High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by two to three years of general clerical or secretarial experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Responsibilities:
Maintains familiarity with the Admission and Occupancy Policy of Low-Income Housing Programs and shall be especially familiar with those sections which deal with computing rent, reexamination requirements, interim rent adjustments rules and those related to occupancy procedures.
Interviews housing program applicants; processes and completes applications for housing; verifies accuracy of applicant information by contacting outside agencies and employers; notifies applicants of acceptance or denial of application.
Conducts briefing with prospective tenants.
Conducts lease conferences with prospective residents; executes lease agreements.
Issues vouchers and certificates.
Processes interim rent adjustments.
Assist the Housing Specialist I with answering the telephone and providing customer service as needed.
Processes work orders.
Performs related duties as required.
