Housing Manager
Schedule:Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized Housing Manager to support day-to-day housing operations and ensure accurate, timely, and confidential management of tenant records. This is an entry-level opportunity with on-the-job training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor accurate tenant files and records.
- Conduct annual tenant recertifications and process interim requests, including rent adjustments.
- Review information for accuracy and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of tenant and agency information.
- Attend required training and cross-training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in administration, housing, social services, case management, or compliance.
- Strong organizational, analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HUD, Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Section 8, public housing, or other affordable housing programs.
- Familiarity with EIV, PIC, and housing management software.
- Knowledge of income calculations, eligibility determinations, and housing regulatory compliance.
