    Day-To-Day

    • Prepares detailed reports, compliance files, and case documentation.
    • Maintains records for audits, HUD requirements, and funding compliance
    • Conducts follow-up inspections to verify corrections.
    • Provides guidance on remediation approaches and maintains communication across stakeholders.
    • Manages homeowner intake, eligibility review, and documentation.
    • Schedules inspections
    • Identifies cases requiring reconstruction referrals and manages program limits.
    • Conducts and evaluates housing developments and repair cases to ensure HQS and City compliance.
    • Inspects structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety components.
    • Performs inspections for HIPP rehabilitation and reconstruction eligibility.
    • Completes Scope of Work on inspection findings and communicate regulatory.
    • Assists with preparing construction-related data for funder reporting and audits.
    • Conducts detailed site inspections at key milestones and project closeout to ensure compliance with scope, budget, and quality standards.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 4 years' experience in housing construction, inspections, or related trades.

    • Lead-based paint certification required.

    • Home Inspection state license

    • Experience with home repair programs preferred.

    • Valid Texas Drivers' License.
