Houseperson

Join our friendly hospitality team as a Hotel Houseperson for afternoon and evening shifts. In this key role, you’ll help create a spotless, welcoming space for our guests through your cleaning, floor care, custodial duties, and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, hallways, stairwells, and service corridors to uphold cleanliness standards.

• Care for floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and vacuuming to maintain their appearance and safety.

• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained.

• Support housekeeping management by executing assigned tasks efficiently and adhering to safety protocols.

• Deliver amenities as requested by hotel guests 

• Assist in Back of House tasks as needed including light laundry, organize shelves and closets, & employee areas

• Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality setting is desirable.

• including knowledge of floor care techniques sweeping, mopping, & Marriott cleaning methods.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.

• Excellent physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform cleaning tasks over five-hour shift 

• Report to work as schedule from at least 5 -10pm or 6-11pm to support the guests and the Front Desk team as needed for 2-3 evenings each week including some weekends
