Houseperson Overview
The Houseperson plays a key role in supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas, assisting room attendants, and ensuring guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout the hotel.
What We're Looking For
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move supplies and equipment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and guest-service focused
What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
- Assist housekeepers by delivering linens, towels, and supplies
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
- Respond to housekeeping and guest requests promptly
- Help ensure all hotel areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards
- Support the housekeeping team with daily operational needs
