Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will lead housekeeping activities, support team performance, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and coordinate work assignments for the team.
- Inspect rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and service standards are met.
- Train, coach, and support team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and service expectations.
- Monitor supply inventory and submit requests for cleaning materials and equipment as needed.
- Schedule and organize staffing to support operational needs and service goals.
- Address guest or client concerns related to cleanliness in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain records related to inspections, schedules, supply usage, and performance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth daily operations.
- Assist with hands-on housekeeping tasks when needed to meet standards and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, hospitality, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a lead, supervisory, or team coordination role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Working knowledge of cleaning methods, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to use common housekeeping tools and equipment safely and properly.
- Basic computer or administrative skills for scheduling, reporting, and inventory tracking.
