Location: 3521 Plaza Ct, Elkhart, IN 46514 Property: Home2 Suites by Hilton Elkhart About the Role Lead the entire housekeeping department to deliver spotless rooms and public spaces that meet or exceed Home2 Suites by Hilton quality standards while controlling costs and developing the team. Responsibilities • Direct daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, inspections, and quality control. • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and performance-manage room attendants, housemen, and laundry staff. • Ensure brand cleanliness standards, deep-cleaning schedules, and inventory control (linen, amenities, chemicals). • Manage department budget, labor productivity, and supply costs. • Conduct room and public-area inspections; address deficiencies immediately. • Coordinate with maintenance on repairs and with front desk on room status. • Maintain safety, OSHA, and chemical compliance; manage lost-and-found. • Drive guest satisfaction related to cleanliness and handle related complaints. • Prepare reports and participate in property leadership meetings. • HS diploma/equivalent; prior supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping (2–3+ years preferred). • Strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail. • Knowledge of cleaning standards, inventory, and labor management. • Flexible schedule; physical ability to inspect rooms and assist as needed.
