    As a Housekeeper in an addiction treatment center, you will contribute to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, patient rooms, and treatment spaces, as well as ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed. Attention to detail and reliability are essential, as your work directly supports the overall comfort and well-being of individuals seeking recovery. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of hygiene and facility maintenance.

    Job Duties

    • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, therapy spaces, and communal areas in accordance with facility protocols
    • Perform daily sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility
    • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure compliance with infection control and sanitation standards
    • Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and hand sanitizer in restrooms and common areas
    • Launder bedding, towels, and other linens; ensure timely distribution of clean items and removal of soiled laundry
    • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged furnishings promptly to the appropriate staff
    • Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning products and equipment in accordance with training and safety guidelines
    • Maintain cleanliness and order in supply storage areas and ensure proper inventory levels of cleaning materials
    • Support the preparation and cleaning of rooms for new patient admissions and discharges
    • Collaborate respectfully with clinical and support staff to maintain a welcoming, organized, and recovery-focused environment
    • Assist in deep cleaning projects or emergency cleanups as assigned
    • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient privacy and dignity during cleaning routines
    • Uphold professional behavior and standards while working in a sensitive, therapeutic environment
    License Requirements/Qualifications:
    • Preferred experience in a housekeeping role in a detox or residential addiction treatment facility 

    Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
