    Job Summary

    As a Resort Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall quality of the guest experience at our esteemed resort. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces with meticulous attention to detail. You'll follow established cleaning procedures, use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies, and uphold our high standards for hygiene and presentation. Your work is essential in creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our guests, leaving a lasting impression of comfort and care.     Essential job FUNCTIONS:

    • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, according to established cleaning standards.
    • Replace bed linens, towels, and other guestroom supplies with clean and fresh items, ensuring that beds are made neatly.
    • Maintain and properly use cleaning supplies and equipment, following safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning agents for various surfaces.
    • Inspect rooms for cleanliness and functionality, replenishing amenities and supplies as needed, such as toiletries, coffee, and drinking glasses.
    • Empty wastebaskets, trash cans, and ashtrays, and dispose of waste in accordance with resort policies and environmental guidelines.
    • Report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
    • Report and turn in any items found in guest rooms to the appropriate department.
    • Maintain the security and privacy of guest rooms and respect the "Do Not Disturb" signs when guests request privacy.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while working with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
    • The colleague is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.

    Experience & Education:

    • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    • Prior experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is highly desirable.
    • Understanding and adherence to safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals.
    • Previous Hotel or Resort experience desired.

    Job REQUIRMENTS:

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
    • Project and time management skills are essential.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Good organizational skills are important for managing cleaning supplies and maintaining an orderly environment.
    • Must be able to work flexible days/hours
    • Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more.

The working conditions include physically demanding tasks, such as bending, kneeling, lifting, and pushing heavy carts filled with linens and cleaning supplies, working in various settings, such as upscale suites or standard guest rooms, each with its own unique requirements, and a fast-paced environment. A Colleague must meet the physical demands described here to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
