Housekeeper

The Best Western Plus Raton Hotel is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. Housekeepers play an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards

• Make beds, change linens, and replenish guest room amenities

• Clean bathrooms, dust furniture, vacuum floors, and remove trash

• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and lost-and-found items

• Ensure assigned rooms are completed within established time standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas

• Assist with cleaning public areas as needed

• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures

• Provide friendly and courteous service to guests when encountered

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds

• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
