TheHousekeepingInspectorisresponsibleforinspectingguestrooms,publicareas,andhousekeepingspacestoensurecleanliness,presentation,maintenance,andoverallqualitymeethotelstandards.Thispositionensuresguestroomsareproperlycleaned,stocked,andreadyforguestarrivalwhilesupportingandcoachinghousekeepingteammemberstomaintainconsistentqualityandexceptionalguestsatisfaction.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities

• Inspectallcleanedguestroomstoensuretheymeethotelcleanlinessandbrandstandards.

• Verifythatcheckoutroomsandstayoverroomsareproperlycleanedandprepared.

• Checkbeds,linens,bathrooms,floors,furniture,windows,andallguestroomsurfaces.

• Ensureguestroomsareproperlystockedwithtowels,toiletries,amenities,andsupplies.

• Checkthatfurniture,appliances,lighting,televisions,andotherroomequipmentareinworkingcondition.

• Inspectfordust,hair,stains,odors,trash,andanysignsofmissedcleaning.

• Returnroomstoroomattendantsforcorrectionswhenstandardsarenotmet.

• Reinspectcorrectedroomsbeforeapprovingthemforguestoccupancy.

• Updateroomstatusaccuratelyinthehotel'spropertymanagementsystem.

• CommunicateroomreadinessandinspectionresultstotheHousekeepingSupervisororManager.

• Reportmaintenanceissues,damages,andsafetyconcernsimmediately.

• Conductrandominspectionsofstayoverroomsandpublicareasasassigned.

• Assistwithtrainingandcoachinghousekeepingstaffonpropercleaningprocedures.

• Monitorhousekeepingproductivityandroomquality.

• Maintainprofessionalcommunicationwithfrontdesk,maintenance,andhousekeepingteams.

• Performadditionaldutiesasassignedbymanagement.

QualificationsandRequirements

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred.

• Previoushotelhousekeepingexperiencerequiredorpreferred.

• Previoushousekeepinginspectionorsupervisoryexperiencepreferred.

• Strongattentiontodetailandorganizationalskills.

• Knowledgeofhotelcleanlinessandguestroompresentationstandards.

• Abilitytoidentifycleaningdeficienciesandcommunicatecorrectionsprofessionally.

• Strongleadership,communication,andproblem-solvingskills.

• Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanagemultiplepriorities.

• Flexibleavailability,includingweekendsandholidays.
