We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Housekeeping House Person who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel environment.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, supporting teammates, and making a visible impact on the guest experience every day.What You'll DoAs a Housekeeping House Person, you'll be an essential part of the Housekeeping team, helping ensure guest rooms, public areas, and supply stations are fully stocked, clean, and operating efficiently.Housekeeping SupportAssist Room Attendants by replenishing linens, supplies, and amenities throughout the day.Collect and transport soiled linens from housekeeping carts and designated areas promptly.Ensure linen closets and storage rooms remain organized, stocked, and maintained according to hotel standards.Empty trash from housekeeping carts and replace liners as needed.Public Area ExcellenceMaintain the cleanliness and appearance of hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and other public spaces.Ensure guest-facing areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.Support overall hotel cleanliness by responding quickly to housekeeping requests and operational needs.Maintenance & Room ReadinessPerform minor room maintenance and basic repairs as assigned.Complete touch-up and cosmetic maintenance to help ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and equipment issues to the appropriate department.Safety & TeamworkFollow all housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and hotel policies.Work closely with Room Attendants, Supervisors, and Maintenance team members to ensure operational excellence.Remain alert to potential safety concerns and promptly report unsafe conditions.Maintain a professional appearance and represent the hotel positively at all times.What Makes You a Great FitWe're looking for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help create exceptional guest experiences.Preferred QualificationsPrevious hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance, or hospitality experience preferred.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment.Basic knowledge of minor maintenance and repair tasks is a plus.Able to prioritize tasks and respond to changing operational needs.Ability to lift, push, pull, and move supplies and equipment throughout the workday.Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business demands require.Why You'll Love Working HereJoin a supportive and collaborative teamPlay a vital role in creating memorable guest experiencesOpportunities for career growth within hospitalityWork in beautiful Santa Cruz near popular attractions and beachesBe part of a culture focused on teamwork, respect, and service excellenceReady to Join Our Team?If you're dependable, service-minded, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.Support the Team.
