GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Operations Manager, the Housekeeping Staff is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a safe and clean environment throughout Ampla Health clinics, including floors, walls, offices, restrooms, kitchens, and interior/exterior trash areas.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Sanitize furniture, door handles, light switches, bathrooms, and other fixtures daily.
Sweep, damp mop, and vacuum floors and carpeted areas daily.
Empty trash receptacles and replace bags as needed.
Safely clean bodily fluids and unclog toilets as necessary.
Clean interior and exterior windows and spot-clean carpets as needed.
Restock soap, hand towels, and other cleaning supplies.
Monitor and order supplies as needed.
Maintain cleaning schedules and complete required checklists.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, and twist.
Must be able to hear staff on the phone and speak clearly to communicate information.
Must be able to climb a ladder.
Must be able to work safely inside buildings.
Must be prepared to drive to any Ampla Health clinic to perform assigned tasks.
