Job Responsibilities - Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and dusting surfaces.
- Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and refreshments.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop floors.
- Sanitize bathrooms, including cleaning toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Adhere to hotel standards and procedures in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms.
- Inspect rooms for damages, maintenance needs, and safety hazards, and report any issues to management.
- Assist with laundry services as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Restock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies for the day's work.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures for cleaning standards and guest privacy.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
- Ensure all room appliances and fixtures are in working order.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel amenities and services to assist guests effectively.
Job Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to hotel standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
