Location: Lafayette, LA

Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Approximately One Day per Week

Join us as a Housekeeper in Lafayette. Your job is to keep rooms, halls, and bathrooms clean and organized. You will do basic cleaning tasks each day and help keep the place running smoothly. If you show up and work hard, this team will appreciate you.

Requirements

• Previous commercial, office, or janitorial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough cleaning
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to move lightweight office items and work around desk wiring safely
• Ability to sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean windows
• Ability to maintain cleaning and restroom supplies
• Dependable attendance and consistent weekly availability
• Ability to follow product instructions and workplace safety procedures

Job Duties

Building A:

• Clean kitchen counters with approved cleaning products
• Refill kitchen soap
• Wipe down the microwave and refrigerator
• Stock the refrigerator with water bottles
• Clean glass entrance doors
• Empty the paper shredder
• Dust offices, shelves, displayed items, wall décor, and office doors
• Dust the entrance area, kitchen, and stools
• Dust baseboards using a Swiffer
• Clean office and private bathrooms
• Clean bathroom mirrors
• Refill soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
• Clean inside and outside windows
• Dust copy machines
• Swiffer and mop office floors, including beneath desks
• Move desk wires carefully when cleaning underneath workstations
• Empty office trash cans
• Clean the kitchen trash can
• Sweep and mop the warehouse floor
• Dust emergency lights and bathroom and air-conditioning vents
• Apply Ortho Home pest-control spray once per month according to product instructions

Building B:

• Refill kitchen soap
• Wipe down kitchen counters and the microwave
• Clean the glass entrance door
• Empty office trash cans
• Wipe down the kitchen trash can
• Dust offices, shelves, displayed items, wall décor, and office doors
• Dust the entrance area, kitchen, and stools
• Dust baseboards using a Swiffer
• Clean the office bathroom and mirror
• Refill bathroom soap as needed
• Vacuum and mop floors
• Clean inside windows
• Dust copy machines
