Housekeeper – Highland Park, TX
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
$45-50 per hour plus full health benefits, paid vacation, 401(k)

A lovely family in Dallas is seeking an experienced Private Housekeeper to take ownership of the daily care and organization of their 8,500-square-foot residence. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home, works independently and understands the discretion required in private service.

The household includes three children and a small dog. The ideal candidate is warm, proactive and comfortable working thoughtfully around an active family’s schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, detailed and seasonal deep cleaning throughout the residence.
• Care for clothing and household linens, including washing, folding, ironing and organization.
• Make beds and maintain orderly bedrooms, closets and living areas.
• Maintain the kitchen, including dishes, appliances, counters and general organization.
• Handle grocery shopping, household stocking and simple meal preparation.
• Monitor cleaning products and household supplies.
• Receive deliveries and provide occasional oversight of trusted vendors.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional housekeeping experience in a large private residence.
• Strong knowledge of fine furnishings, antiques and specialty surfaces.
• Skilled in laundry, ironing and household organization.
• Self-directed, efficient and able to manage responsibilities without constant instruction.
• Excellent judgment, discretion and respect for family privacy.
• Warm, positive and comfortable around children and dogs.
• Physically able to work throughout a two-story residence.
• Interested in a stable, long-term position with one family.

Schedule

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
