Full Time Variable Shift

Summary

Housekeeper, Floor Finishers are responsible to clean furniture, carpet, and hard floors as part of a scheduled floor care program. When required, they are responsible to complete housekeeping duties and complete routine work orders as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Current, unrestricted driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One-year previous experience in floor care

Essential Functions

• Schedule and complete floor care assignments as needed. Dust and wet mopping, stripping and waxing floors, spray buffing, burnishing, auto scrubbing, cleaning stairwells, power washing tile floors, carpet and upholstery maintenance (i.e. stain removal, spot cleaning, treatment & extracting application).
• Complete work orders for additional needs such as upholstery, carpet, or floor care work.
• Complete and Report daily floor care assignments to EVS office on a daily basis.
• Communicate with customers regarding needs, questions, and concerns.
• Maintain floor care equipment in a professional manner.
• Anticipate supply and equipment needs and advise management in a timely manner so as to avoid shortages.
• Complies with standards of safety.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Actively supports organizations mission and vision values and strategic directions.
• Attendance, breaks and appearance is symbolic of hospital standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned including housekeeping duties.
