Job Overview

Ebenezer is seeking a Housekeeper to support our residents at Aurora on France TCU in Edina, MN! This position performs all housekeeping duties consistent with the assignment sheet.

Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. The schedule includes;

• 48 hours in two weeks
• Day shift; 8AM - 4:30PM
• Tuesday - Friday with an every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties:

• Vacuums

• Changes water bucket or mop head as trained

• Uses wet floor signs

• Maintains housekeeping cart and closet

• Replenishes supplies - soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

• Cleans tile/walls, windows, and glass doors

• Ensures chemicals are locked up

• Cleans public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms:

• Cleans drinking fountains with disinfectant

• Replenishes supplies - soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

• Vacuums carpets

• Empties and washes waste baskets with disinfectant when needed

• Assists with emergency spills as needed

• Maintains clean linen carts

• Wears gloves at all times

• Assists with grounds cleanup when requested

• Performs other duties as assigned. This may include but is not limited to:

• Room changes

• Cleaning wheel chairs

• Assisting with special events

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

8am- 4:30pm 10 shifts every 2 weeks.
