Overview:
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and assigned public areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests. Housekeepers play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining Golden Nugget's standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Clean assigned guest rooms according to established standards and productivity requirements.
- Make beds and replace linens as needed.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Replace towels, amenities, and guest supplies.
- Ensure all room equipment and furnishings are clean and in good condition.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report deficiencies promptly.
Guest Service
- Provide courteous and professional interactions with guests.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests and special needs.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Promote a positive guest experience through attention to detail and service excellence.
Operational Responsibilities
- Utilize HotSOS or other property management systems as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Restock carts with linens, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Complete assigned rooms within departmental productivity standards.
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special assignments as directed.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training programs.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Must be dependable and maintain a professional appearance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to maneuver housekeeping carts and equipment throughout the property.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Posted Salary Range:
USD $17.00 - USD $17.50 /Hr.
