Our client is seeking a proactive, adaptable, and highly discreet House Manager / Personal Assistant to provide direct personal and household support in Los Angeles. This is a dynamic position for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is genuinely excited about traveling and becoming a trusted long-term member of a private household.
The family is prioritizing attitude, flexibility, discretion. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, comfortable working independently, and able to adjust seamlessly as schedules and priorities change. This individual should enjoy a lifestyle-oriented role that combines personal assistance, household management, travel, and hands-on day-to-day support.
Responsibilities
Provide direct day-to-day personal assistance to the principals
Manage personal calendars, appointments, reservations, and scheduling
Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, itineraries, and related logistics
Travel extensively with the family, including extended stays in London and occasional additional domestic and international travel
Run personal and household errands and assist with miscellaneous requests as needed
Oversee the day-to-day operation and organization of the Los Angeles residence
Coordinate household vendors, maintenance, repairs, deliveries, and service appointments
Serve as the primary point of contact for household-related matters
Independently oversee the Los Angeles residence while the principals are traveling
Anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and proactively ensure household and personal matters are handled efficiently
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion at all times
Qualifications
Prior experience in personal assistance, household management, hospitality, or another high-touch service environment preferred
Proactive, organized, resourceful, and highly adaptable
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and comfortable with changing schedules and priorities
Genuinely enjoys travel and is available for extended stays in London as well as other domestic and international travel
Comfortable providing occasional weekend support and remaining available by text outside of regular working hours as needed
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle
Comfortable working in a home with cats
High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional weekend events and communication outside of standard working hours.
Significant travel is required, including extended stays in London. Private accommodations will be provided while traveling with the principals.
Compensation: $120,000-$165,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
