Employment Type: Part-time, W-2 | 15–20 hours per week; 15 hours guaranteed

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with Tuesday and Thursday being particularly important days. The schedule offers flexibility, with the ideal candidate able to provide earlier morning support on Wednesdays and Fridays (starting around 8:00 AM) when needed. Start times on other days would be no earlier than 9:00 AM.

Compensation: $30–$35/hour, commensurate with experience. Mileage reimbursement provided for work-related errands.

Requirements

• Reliable personal transportation and a clean driving record
• Maintain a smoke-free environment
• Fragrance-free approach while working in the home
• Candidates are required to be up to date on recommended vaccinations in line with American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines (including Tdap), subject to applicable legal accommodations
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willingness to obtain certification prior to start
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

We are a busy, loving household in Atlanta with three young children and two very friendly dogs. With little ones at different ages and stages, our home is full of energy, laughter, and plenty of activity. Life is full, and we love it. .

Laundry & Linen Care

• Full ownership of family laundry, including washing, drying, folding, sorting, and putting away
• Care for specialty items, including duvet covers, comforters, and periodic linen refreshes
• Ironing and steaming as needed
• Keep laundry areas tidy, organized, and well stocked

Household Organization & Maintenance

• Daily resets and tidying throughout the home, including surfaces, dishes, and high-traffic areas
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot household organization systems
• Stay ahead of visual clutter and ensure household items are consistently returned to their proper places
• Manage toy rotations, book organization, and closet upkeep
• Coordinate seasonal clothing swaps and donation drop-offs
• Assist with holiday preparation and takedown
• Unpack and help reset the household following family travel
• Light sofa/upholstery vacuuming and similar upkeep between cleaner visits
• Replace light bulbs, batteries, and smoke detector batteries as needed

Inventory & Errands

• Grocery pickup, delivery put-away, and household restocking
• Maintain running lists for pantry, refrigerator, and household essentials
• Monitor household supplies and proactively replenish items before they run out
• Manage recurring household orders and subscriptions
• Handle occasional returns, packages, and donation drop-offs
• Break down and recycle shipping boxes

Meal Prep & Kitchen Support

• Prepare school lunches and snacks for school days
• Assist with light meal preparation as needed
• Keep the kitchen reset and organized throughout the week
• Support general kitchen upkeep between cleaner visits

Household Projects & Seasonal Upkeep

• Periodic fridge, pantry, and oven clean-outs and resets
• Tackle organizational projects such as toy clean-outs, storage spaces, and children's closets
• Seasonally refresh the garage, mudroom, entryway, and other high-use household spaces

Family Support

• Provide occasional backup childcare support as needed, including infant and older child care to support family flexibility for appointments, school activities, and other commitments.
• Assist with occasional school pickup; school is located nearby
• Prepare backpacks and help keep school-related items organized and ready to go

Pet Care

• Feeding and occasional backyard playtime for two friendly dogs
• Open to occasional pet and house-sitting during family travel

Vendor & Property Oversight

• Research and coordinate home repairs, contractors, and service providers
• Oversee cleaner visits and contractor appointments as needed
• Help keep outdoor living spaces, patios, and children's outdoor play areas organized
• Coordinate seasonal property maintenance and recurring home services

Vehicle Maintenance

• Organization of the family vehicle, cleaning
