    Step into the role of Household Goods Relocation Specialist

    Picture a workday where you and your crew arrive on time, review the move plan, pad the truck, and head out to help a family or business start a new chapter. You’ll be the expert hands that lift, wrap, secure, and transport furniture, appliances, boxes, and other household or commercial items with care.

    What your day looks like

    • Load and unload a variety of items — from sofas and dressers to appliances and cartons — with precision
    • Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy or bulky pieces safely using proper techniques
    • Wrap, pad, and protect furniture to avoid scratches, dents, and tears
    • Operate moving tools such as hand trucks, furniture dollies, moving straps, and ramps
    • Support both residential and commercial relocations, adjusting to different site needs
    • Guard every space you enter — safeguarding floors, walls, doors, and entryways
    • Assemble or take apart furniture as required for safe travel
    • Secure loads for transportation so everything arrives in the same condition it left
    • Keep the truck and work area tidy, organized, and ready for the next task
    • Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and teammates
    • Follow company safety procedures and best-practice lifting methods
    • Stay until the job is finished — occasional overtime may be needed
