    Description:

    Position Purpose

    At Saint Mary's Hospital, the Nursing Supervisor (House) serves as the on-site leadership presence during nights, weekends, and holidays. This role ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units by coordinating nursing operations, supporting staff, and resolving clinical and administrative issues. The supervisor acts as a resource for nursing teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency.

    What You Will Do

    • Provide on-site nursing leadership during nights, weekends, and holidays.

    • Support and guide nursing staff across departments.

    • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.

    • Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time.

    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Required:

    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

    • Valid RN license in Connecticut.

    • The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in ICU-Level or Critical Care acute care nursing and leadership roles, such as ICU-Level and Critical Care, Charge Nurse, or Assistant Nurse Manager (2+ years). *Please ensure Charge Nurse roles are clearly indicated on resume.

    Preferred:

    • BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

    • Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS).

    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

    Position Highlights and Benefits

    • Full-Time: 32 Hours/Week - Evening Shift, starting at 11:00 am.

    • Variable shifts, with a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts during the work week. 12-hour shifts on weekend rotations.

    • Salaried position, eligible for shift differentials.

    • Compensation Range: $44.05 min - $70.50 max.
